Brussels last day

Last Day - Last day of the holiday in Brussels. Our flight is 9pm . Lots of things can be done we can always take everything slowly.

We took cab this time to bring all the luggage to the train station since check out from hotel @ 11am.

Lesson learnt, with kids and luggage and buggy cab is the best solutions. The cost around €20 and it's not too bad.

Metro is a bit inconvenience because not all stations have lift for buggy or even worst they not even have escalator.

Bus also better option but might have to do more research on that one.

We have to get some souvenir because we didn't get any yet. Unbelievable rite. My mum and sister demand for keychain alrite.

It was raining all day long, as a result we can't do much. Umbrella and raincoat really are the solutions but not so long.

After meredah hujan with 2 kids we got some keychain and ready to go home.

I managed to buy 2 shawl though and some chocolates at the train station. I regret for not buying lots of Godiva. It's a bit expensive but worth it.

Tips: There's locker where you can put your luggage if necessary. I think it was €5 for the whole day.

We went to airport really early. I thought I was a bad idea because you know airport food, shop not as good as the one in town.

But there's play area for the kids at the airport.

Lifesaver. Umar and Bella love it. Problems solved. They could spend hours there.

There's also free wifi for one hour. Instagram update check (sitihajar_noor

Brussels - day 3

3rd Day - We are going to Brugge today but we going to meet Emilie, my former collegue for a quick one. She came over from Haag in Netherland just to meet us.

Went to Grand Palace again and had breakfast in Panos, not to forget the infamous chocolate milk.

She walk with us to the train station so we can go to Brugge. There's a huge Smurf at the entrance of the station which we did not have a chance to take picture with but I'll google it. I even bought a Smurf soft toy for Bella as a souvenir

Brugge is gorgeous.

Didn't remember it was this beautiful before. Walking by the canal, looking at the ancient buildings it's magnificient. The city is alive and not crowded as Brussels.

Brugge is 50 minutes away by train from Brussels.

We had kebab for lunch before we start the tour.

Halal food is so easy to find in Brussels and Brugge. You won't be starve.

Brussels - Day 2

Second Day - we took the bus from the Shuman, which where we live to go to city centre. It's nice to see the buildings and area on the way to town. We actually did not know where to shop but we manage to find the Grand Palace eventually.

It's my fourth visit to Brussels but I only realised now not all of them actually speak English. Apparently they speak Dutch

Places of interest

1. Grand Palace

2. Mannequin Pis

We only manage to cover Grand Palace since abang Umar is not very well. But I am glad to see the Great Grand Palace once again because I remember how I really enjoy seeing it from my previous trip here.
